I am writing this review after reading Defying the Odds and Star Crossed back to back. I LOVE Kele Moon's writing. She does a phenomenal job of building characters and developing relationships. The chemistry between Melodie and Clay is scorching hot and oh so sweet. This book was like Sleeping with ...
'He hadn't spent a lifetime pushing women away only to be taken down by a piece of pumpkin pie.'3.5 stars. This story made me cringe in sympathy; and that's a good thing! Probably all through out the book, I find myself saying, "Aww, honey", a bunch of times because I really felt Melody's dedication...
Melody Dylan has left everything behind to start over. She’s escaping from her abusive ex-husband and trying to begin brand new in the small town of Garnet. While working as a waitress she meets Clay “Powerhouse” Powers. Local bad boy, celebrity and UFC Champion. He’s everything Melody should want t...
3.5 Stars First off, I am from Ohio and we don't talk like that. Makes me seem like I should be talking with a southern drawl. It was making me mad. I kept saying "they live in Ohio?"2nd, I loved how Melody told the Sheriff what was happening with her right off the bat. Domestic violence is no j...

He beat her and raped her and broke her spirit. But she got away! GO MEL! She left everything behind and moved to a small town that reminded ...

This was a sweet romance about a grumpy and anti-social hero who totally melts towards his heroine when they first meet. The romance is very sweet and tender and the love scenes was scorching. However I did find that the heroine's backstory a bit weak because it was a bit glossed over especially how...
