This is one of the most consistently good anthologies I've read in a long time. There's not a single dud among these stories and I love the unique takes on vampire lore. Every one of these stories breaks out of the familiar vampire trope and explores some rather interesting new ideas. I say that the...

Finished...finally. Heroine travels a lot and makes habit of picking up men to scratch itch. Don't we have a term for men who do this? Purple prose rampant. Classified as erotic yet language mild and only sex scenes at beginning with objectionable wordings. Have read more mainstream romance wit...

A very steamy book indeed and a good story overall. The reason i gave this book 3 stars is because i found it very hard to get into and hard to understand at times. There seemed to be a lot going on all at once and the story kept jumping back and forward through time, also the constant having to loo...

An intriguing premise is ruined by amateurish writing and vague world-building in this paranormal romantic suspense.I was looking forward to reading this book, despite that awful cover. The blend of magic and police work intrigued me. But what killed this book for me was the writing. More specifical...

This book was just mediocre. Sometimes the dialogue was so stilted it was like a high school play. I felt nothing for either the hero Gareth or the heroine Portia. And her recovery from years of sexual abuse by her husband was too quick to be believable. I've read a short story by this author an...

Not bad. My favorites were the stories by Jordan Summers, Rosemary Laurey, Jaye Wells, Larissa Ione, and Devon Monk. The rest were either okay or I didn't like them. This anthology is better then the first.

I only read the Breeds story and based my rating on that alone. I loved how he wanted her to give her heart to him without the influence of the "mating heat" so he refused to touch her.
