I can't remember why someone recommended this to me, but it may have been because I was looking around for books with good smut. This novel has some naughty parts which are very interesting, but not exactly stimulating because all of them are amidst social issues that aren't exactly loving or roman...
The first half of the book was an interesting read, and I wanted to see more with the main character. However, the second half, following his travels, weren't quite as interesting, and the "to be continued" ending was rather disappointing. If there is a sequel, I think I'll pass.
I was a little too put off by Piet to really love this book. The title says it all - Piet is an incredibly self-indulgent and narcissistic young man who mostly gets what he wants through his incredible good looks. And while I couldn't love him I didn't hate him and am interested to see where Rich...
