I made just past the 1/2 way point and as much as I want to have answers to some of the different plots that have been going in in the last 7 books I just can't bring myself to continue listening to this....very little from the previous books continues in this one....although a "fairy god-mother" is...

I think this was the first Merry book where I was a little on edge through it. It tied up some loose ends and opened doors to many more possibilites. I can actually say I'm excited for more

Another Merry Gentry book I enjoyed more the 2nd time around. Merry's in LA and there are some mini-fae murders she's trying to solve while working around the egos of the men. Things just get stranger and stranger for her. I'm hoping the next book shows her big with the babies and maybe going bac...

While I liked the storyline well enough, Merry's sex life is over the top. I don't understand why Ms. Hamilton insists that Merry Gentry and Anita Blake have to have multiple boyfriends and have sex with so many. At least Merry doesn't try to push her beliefs on others and make them guilty about ...

In this installment of the Merry Gentry saga (or drama, as it may well be called), the Princess is pregnant, has renounced her claim on the throne, and is living happily with her merry men in Maeve Reed's house. She and some of her men work for a detective agency, and are called in to assist the loc...

I think if I had read this instead of listening, I would have liked it less. I still can't understand why 8 books in, she feels the need to recap characters. That gets tedious.

I do love the Merry Gentry series, but I’m not really feeling much about Divine Misdemeanors. Granted, it has been awhile since I’ve read it, but after looking over my notes, nothing of the novel is coming back to me. Usually, all I need is a few words and I can think of sections that I want to go...

I thought this book was a murder mystery. The mystery was secondary to the main character's relationships with her men. A little bit too much information for me.

I really can't figure out the draw to this series. I have read them all and I feel that they are all just kind of mediocre. In hind sight, I might have rated them a little higher than they really deserved--but I will leave the ratings alone. I was pretty sure I knew who the killer was as soon as...

I really liked this book. The reviews were not good/some horrible and so I didn't expect to like it at all. I did do the "phrases I never want to hear again" drinking game and ended up doing 13 shots. Bailey's so not enough to go to the hospital for. I liked that she brought back Uther. I wish ...
