Took 3 months to make it through the first 100 pages; saw the movie (loved it), couldn't find my way back to the book.

Finished this audio and it was so good. Made me laugh and at times get kinda sad..just an all around great time with the Ya Ya's. Imagine the book is great too.

I would love to have a group of friends like the Ya-Yas. People to have fun with, people to hang out with, people you'd trust with your life and know that they're there for you in thick and thin, no matter if you need a shoulder to cry on, or a swift kick in the behind. It seems like a book I would love: wild Southern girls. And it was fine, I enjoyed it well enough. But I never felt any desire to carry on.
