My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book...Well, the plot is unusual, another LC 'odd' plots. Zoe is beautiful and spent 12 yrs or so in a harem after she ran away from home and was abducted. She knows all things pleasing a man but still a virgin! Ahem, yah...

3.5 stars. Decent romance. One of the rare historical romances that didn't push any of my sexism buttons, so that's a bonus, but I do wish more romance authors cared about external conflict. The crazy servant thing was pretty bland.

I really enjoyed this. Chase really is a master with dialogue. I felt like it dragged a bit here and there, but overall the characters were stellar and the story drew me in.
