If you enjoyed the madcap comedies of years’ past, run, don’t walk to your nearest bookstore, Amazon, or Audible and get this book. It’s very funny, all the while paying admiring homage to the burlesque comedians of the thirties and forties. Remember “Who’s on first”? Nate Silverstein, a retired ...

I've got to figure out a better way to write reviews as I read. It used to be easier when I wrote them on paper. Such is life. Anyway, now that I have finished the book, a couple of comments. I still liked it, but the plot took some turns at the end that made it much more dark. The whole ***SPOI...

Usually I am not a big fan of present tense narrative but this was handled so well along with the prose style that it really immersed me into this story of a career small time criminal given the chance for his freedom if he impersonates the famous Bobby Z, the legendary surfer and drug dealer
