I did enjoy this baseball story. At first I thought it was heavy in sports talk but soon saw how that not only setup a fun plot but also showed strength of character which made this a good book. News reporter Holly is assigned to write a story about a baseball team including its pitcher Pace.

Contemporary romance about a major league baseball pitcher and a reporter who's supposed to find out secrets about the team. Shalvis definitely knows how to write a solid and enjoyable story and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
