I think that Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee is a cute rhyming story. I liked it. It didn't register at all on my niece and nephew's radar. They were not interested. I was surprised, because I know that they liked some of Chris Van Dusen's other works, such as The Circus Ship and If I Built a Car...
