One those rare times when the sequel is even better than the first.
It was nice to have the rest of Ward’s story, but I think I preferred Dragon Bones. Somehow the stakes for this never quite seemed real to me and so I was never that worried. [Aug. 2011]

Felt longer and more pointless than the first book in the series.
