It was nice to have the rest of Ward’s story, but I think I preferred Dragon Bones. Somehow the stakes for this never quite seemed real to me and so I was never that worried. [Aug. 2011]

I liked the idea and the characters, but not the execution. Too much pain and evil, torture, sadists and pedophiles. A true lack of detailed characterization and dialogue.
