I haven't read books one to six in this series, and I think it might have helped if I had, although I was still able to understand where the book was heading story-wise. This is a spin-off sequel to the Frog Princess series. I didn't like Millie's character as much as Emma's. Still enjoyable and cute but not my favorite in Millies' story lines or E.D. Baker's books.
