This is a very likeable retelling of the story of Beauty and the Beast. I had the Audible audiobook version and the narration was very pleasant to listen to. Really kind of has the feel of an 1980's regency romance novel. I liked it.

I was really very surprised just how much I actually enjoyed this story. I couldn't begin to describe why I like it so much but Christine Pope does a fabulous job writing a story that seriously had me devouring each page with high anticipation.
