BookNook — Young Adult book reviews4.5 starsHoly crap, Drowning Instinct was AMAZING! It was so intense and wrong and heartbreaking all in one. This book definitely would have been great to listen to as an audiobook; I kind of regret that I didn't. Basically, the story starts off with Jenna being...

I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading about suicide, mental illness and about those taboo subjects such as incest. The writing is just fantastic. Full review to come in the next couple of days.

I know how I'm supposed to feel about this book. Had this been my daughter...Let's just say heads would've rolled.I know what this story is about. I know what it details but I can't find the right feelings, I can't muster hatred or disdain or anything like that. I'm sorry, but I love Mitch. Crucify ...

You come away from this knowing full well that there really are no stereotypical predators or victims. Predators don’t go around all skeevy and scary announcing to the wor...

This books gets under your skin and it doesn't go away. It's been a couple of weeks since I read this and I'm still thinking about it. I picked this book up on a recommendation from YA Confidential They likened it to Stolen by Lucy Christopher and highly recommended it. I agree 100%. Although, ju...

I like this book, but I just can't bear the fact that he was a teacher and she a student...because no matter how effed up they were, there is no excuse for a teacher having friendly realtionship with his students...none... maybe later in college, when they are all grown ups, but not with minors...I ...

You can read all of my reviews at Alluring Reads."..this is a fairy tale with teeth and claws, and here's what completely sucks: you're going to want black and white, right and wrong, I'm not sure I can give that to you. That's the problem with the truth."I finished this book about an hour ago and ...
