DK took me a wile to warm up to but once I did I didn't want to stop reading it. The painting's done by EF sounded so realistic and eerily beautiful it made me wonder if Mr. King wasn't a talented painter as well as a writer, it wouldn't surprise me, the man has it in spades. It had been several yea...

More psychological suspense than a thriller, which is what I prefer.

I know some people feel that after his accident he lost his touch for the creeping horror that made him famous, but I assure you that is not the case. This book proves that King not only still has it, he's still improving. I ...

Wow! What can I say, other than "retirement" has seemed to revitalize the Master of Horror. This was a scary, terrifying novel reminiscent of his '70s and '80s masterpieces. To be honest, I had no idea what to expect going in. The only thing I read about Duma Key and those did NOT convey any sense ...

Ok. I had to read this book because I really needed to find out how one could make drawing and painting into a horror novel. It was possible after all, this book was very creepy yet artsy. Parts of the book were "roll your eyes" silly, but it is Stephen King after all, so you must take it with a ...
