And it's not just the fact that I'm knitting. I'm finding half of this interesting - the half that actually revolves around The Metal Men and their robotic enemies - and the half that revolves around Dr. Will Magnus, his lady love, and all the other humans... kinda boring. I'm charmed by the art...

And i kinda get it. He's 'relatable.' Because he's, y'know, human. And he created the Metal Men, so he's involved heavily with them, and he becomes the 'in.' The character readers can relate to, even while this is supposed to be about The Metal Men. If I wanted to read 'Dr. Will Magnus Fai...

Normally I wouldn't even bother to say anything, but then this happened in this issue. Platinum certainly is persistent. And you guys all know how I feel about metal/meat relationships, right? (Well, there's one half too much meat, except I also want to be in one of those, thank you, so......

Having already read Infinite Crisis, I was already aware of Jaime and his introduction. This gave me a headstart on the readers who pick up issue #1 of Blue Beetle with no prior awareness of his character. I will admit that the starting point is very abrupt; the first issue moves back and forth betw...

DNF... It was okay at first, but just continued on without a whole lot of a clear story line.. Got bored.

Campy and overrated. It seems unfair to give Loeb credit for all of this. Emperor Joker is a nine issue arc written by many different people. The Loeb parts live up to expectation and he writes some pretty good Joker dialogue as well as funnily and eerily re-imagines a world fashioned by the king of...

If I had to summarize this story arc in a single word, that word would be: lolwhat.Definitely whenever you are doing a serious story like an AU of the 2000 presidential election, you should be sure to include an interlude where Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen (things have been published under that title ...
