The one thing that really stood out for me in Rot & Ruin was that I started off almost completely disliking the ungrateful brat Benny Imura. However, in the course of the book he grew so much that by the end I really really liked him, which to me is the sign of a very good book.Dust & Decay picks up...

It was ok. A decent enough continuation of the story. This book is much more obviously YA than the first. I am now vested into the characters (even if they are kinda irritating teenagers!) and intend to read on. I need/want to know what happens next in their story. I do like the changing environment ...

This book was amazing!! What a flipping ride. I loved it. Loved it. I can't believe I picked up the first in this series on a whim and by a recommendation only. I feel like this series should have been on my radar long before. The narration of both Rot & Ruin and Dust & Decay is very well done...

The second installment of the Benny Imura series delivers action, mysteries, and oodles of character growth. Oh, and at least two thousand and fifty-nine zombies. And a pair of rad surfer dudes, for anyone over 30 who might happen to be reading.Benny and his friends have returned to their fortified ...

MILD Spoiler: My heart is broken. How do you go on reading these books now?! I don't have a review in me for this one. It was good, as good as the first. Except without assholes, at least not ones who weren't supposed to be assholes. Very good.

While this one was not as good as "Rot & Ruin", it was still fantastic and at the end my heart broke and I cried and cried... And that is all I have to say about that.

Benny made it back from the Rot & Ruin only to start training with his brother, Tom, to leave again. After seeing the airplane fly over, Benny, Nix, Lilah, and Tom have been anxious to find out where it was going. Could there be civilazation beyond the Rot & Ruin?Every day Tom trains Benny, Nix, L...

If you like books about the end of the world, then this is a good book for you. it is the second book in a series. The first is Rot & Ruin. In this series, zombies are what brought about the big change. But this book is more about good vs. evil and the gray areas in between. I stayed up past midnigh...
