Worth reading, if only for The Kugelmass Episode.
I had intended to read Woody Allen's humor in order of publication but botched it. I'm glad I did, as I finished with his 1979 high note. Side Effects is the only one I read that felt finished; that each piece was considered, refined, and completed with the reader in mind. And I laughed quite a bit.
