"I will die when people forget about me."I loved it. Tony Tony Chopper's hard past and his present. The loss of the man, who was like a father to him. This was very emotional.But I don't feel so sad about it because I know he's going to be happy again with his new friends.
I vastly prefer the anime of this arc to the manga (though the manga is quite a bit shorter) but now I can appreciate this a bit more. Brook and Luffy are still tied for my favorites though I love how each of the crew does something really important on this island. Still, I hate watching them battle...
This volume focuses on some great one-on-one battles! And what fights they are! They really put some of the favorite characters through some rigorous tests. While the overall plotline may seem slower, to me the action is so well done it is hard to notice. Also, even through these battles we see ...
Fishman Island, we've been waiting a lllllllooooooooooonnnnnngggg time for this. We get to see a hint of Luffy's new found powers, I look forward to really seeing it in action. Not much a fan of this book. Most of it was clueless women being hilarious about see a man for the first time. The end however was sad but touching. Luffy 's grown a lot.
