Wonderful start to a series! The tone of this book reminded me of a cross between the early Anita Blake series(the first book is: Guilty Pleasures) and Patricia Briggs' Alpha & Omega series (Cry Wolf). Someone is trying to frame werewolf Rule Turner and homicide cop Lily Yu gets put as the lead dete...

Moving review from amazon now that my kindle account is banned from posting after commenting on author review circles. Screenshot: Review text: I enjoyed all of these stories; but, none held "surprises" -- I think the readers all knew after first couple of pages how plots would go. I had origina...

Audiobook. I also read the short story.I'm reading Originally Human: I'm not loving all of the sound effects, especially the sex parts. It's a little much. Now that I've read the series and am more familiar with the characters, this was a fund short story listen to.

Audiobook. I have also read the paperback. This audiobook is an ensemble cast which is great in some ways, they have a different person for each character. Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs 5* Introduction to this spin-off series and I'm hooked (once again)! I just really enjoy P Briggs writing. Also thanks to those reviews that said to read the FIRST before starting Cry Wolf. So far more romance heavy than Mercy (but I've only read through the 3r...

Took me a while to get into this book. It has been a while since I read the last book and couldn't remember all the players and exactly where we were in the story. Once I got into it, it was pretty good. Most of the story revolves around Rule and Lily and Lily's family. We start the story off fr...
