This book was just OK for me. I usually struggle with emotional neglect of children eve if it is cloaked in humor. Nanny is a good character though :)

http://lisleslivres.blogspot.com/2012/11/review-over-you-by-emma-mclaughlin-and.html3.75 starsStrange rating, I know, but it deserved higher than a high 3 keeping in mind the genre. Writing: So this was chick-lit like everything else these authors write. I find chick-lit simple to read. I must co...

I made it halfway through this book and, while it wasn't bad, it wasn't all that great either. I've enjoyed all of their other books, but I think it was Max's character that just wasn't as loveable as I would have liked her to be. Plus, the book was due at the library, and I just didn't think that...

I'm sorry to say that I really don't like the book. I was so happy when I first got it, After a few chapters, I just wish it'd be over soon.

My Rating: 2.0 Not that I never knew this already, but I learned again, today, that one; never trust pretty covers and two; a pretty cover and a plot that sounds amazing is too good to be true. Way too good to be true. That pretty much covers my unflattering opinion of Over You. Lets start with the ...

quick, light easy read. i definitely enjoyed it - and was completely submerged in Maxs story. would recommend to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance set in NYC that deals freely (but tastefully) with sex, relationships and swear words lol

Review also posted at my blogMax decides that there has to be more to life for girls than pining for their exes after they are dumped. There has to be a way to get over them faster and get on with their lives. Energized with the idea of getting over an ex after her own dumping, she sets out to creat...

I couldn't finish this one because I got halfway through and not much had been developed beyond the central premise that reality shows aren't real. This book is only 2 years old. I'm pretty sure "The Hills" was already over then and "The Real Housewives" was already full steam ahead. A lot of people...

2.5 stars. I started out really liking this book, but then it turned into the life of Britney Spears. It would have been nice if it was more original.

I've heard great things about the Nanny Diaries by the same two authors and was really excited when I saw they'd written a YA novel! So of course I jumped at the chance to read and review this wonderful sounding book!So I am a bit sad to say that I didn't end up enjoying this book as much as I wante...
