This is one of those books that I'd heard so much about in the last few years, that it was kind of impossible not to read it at some point. Also, I watched the movie and although I saw the twist coming for quite some time, I really enjoyed it. Basically Ender's Game bottles down to Ender, a young ...

You know what? I didn't like this book as a kid and I liked it even less as an adult. The typical response to this opinion is that I need to read the rest of the series before passing judgement. But I plan on judging this book on the merits of this book, not on the rest of the series--nor on the auth...

This was one of my early favorites, discovered at a summer camp for talented youth, where we fancied ourselves as smart as Ender and his friends, hahaha.

This review will probably contain spoilers. Read on at your own risk. Tuck Everlasting is one of those books that I've been meaning to read. For 30 years. I've resisted until now because several people told me it was an extremely sad book. I'm not sure what book they were reading. Maybe there's...

Rating: 4 StarsThis wouldn't be my first choice of reading material but I had to read it for school back in 2015. I must admit it wasn't a bad story, I actually started liking it towards the end. However, this isn't a book I will be clamoring to read again. Still it a well developed story line an...

Not worth re-reading for the plot, but I loved visiting the characters again. And I felt more like Ender was actually me.

Fantastic and fascinating story about a young child who is trained to become a commander of an army to save the world from invading aliens. Watching Ender's development from that child into something else is tragic and thought-provoking. So many parallels can be made to so many aspects of our world ...

Underdog with massive intelligence. Is it any wonder I'd like this book? People are making a big deal about all the pseudo- Hunger Games series, but I think those series actually owe a lot to Ender's Game too. I don't think I'll read the rest of the series - the first book was too good! Minus points...

Truly hated this book, so much that I actually watched the movie and enjoyed that more.

This was a great book. Much better than the movie. I read a lot of Sci Fi / Fantasy novels, so it was hard for me to come up with a favorite. I finally decided on this one. If you like Sci Fi and haven't read this, you should give it a shot.
