After trying (and failing) to write a review for this novel for the past two months, I think it's time for me to just step back and admit that sometimes it really isn't possible to write down my thoughts for certain novels. From looking at the reviews my friends have written for this, ranging from l...

have to say I really enjoyed Eon/Eona alot. Remember people, the book has a different title based on different countries. The US version is Eon/Eona while the UK version is different. Anyway I found Eona every bit as engaging as the the first book. I did kinda miss the city though. I really loved th...

Power corrupts Eona. Lots of blood and guts.

Even better then Eon. Complex, intricate worldbuiling, with obvious Asian influences, a strong, conflicted and above all, realistic main character made this easily one of my favorites for this year. I'm seriously impressed with Alison Goodman and how much she grew as a writer over the course of thes...

5 starsAll the things that I enjoyed about the first novel - its thorough background research that showed in its worldbuilding, its well-developed characters, its layered plot - just heightened with its sequel. I also thoroughly enjoyed its new additions - the added complexity of Ido's character (I ...
