I give it 4 Stars because there were two major plot twist that were really really good! Otherwise the book was just good. I enjoyed reading them, specially after Plot-Twist at 50% of the book. If you read it you know exactly what I mean, if you haven't you have to read it and get surprised :)

This feels like a book written and carelessly edited simply to capitalise on the vampire romance craze and thus is with completely unrealistic characters, unbelievable (and annoying) plot twists and in general a very amateurish read.Plot twists are great, but the should not be something the narrator...

As I read this story, it reminded me a little bit of Twilight....male character with bronze hair....damsel in distress girl....But it was not Twilight....I could not put this book down. It was absolutely addictive. Each chapter surprised me. I managed to read it in 1 day.

Middling addition to paranormal romance genre, 2.5 starsIn Claudia Gray's EVERNIGHT, Bianca has been uprooted from her life and brought by her parents to the elite Evernight Academy where they will teach. Feeling out of place among the rich and talented students, Bianca finds herself a small group o...

Let me start off by saying there was a point, just about half way through the book, when I was ready to write a five star review. I was in love with Bianca - and more importantly, her parents. They were a real family who enjoyed listening to Jazz and watching 1930s films. They were perfect, and e...

Evernight is a fun take on star-crossed lovers... vampire style. Despite a slowish beginning, the novel has a edgy, dark feel to it which pairs perfectly with the vampire theme. The novel is told in the 1st person narration with Bianca as a pretty reliable narrator. She is an interesting character w...

3 1/2 stars. This is a book that I thought about reading for a long time. I'll start by saying that the main character in this book reminded me so much of myself as a teen. She liked classic movies and big band music just as I did at that age. Not that I didn't like the stuff that was popular in the...

Vampire fiction is not a trend; it's a long-standing subgenre currently experiencing a major upswing (even if, perhaps, some are getting a little sick of their dominance, resulting in what appears to be the start of the upswing going down). Published in 2008, Evernight by Claudia Gray is a promising...
