Oh, the joys of reading about other book nerds! Especially those who write well about their own joy at being a book nerd. I enjoyed this so much that after reading a library copy, I bought a used copy from Thriftbooks.com. I'll even mark up my own copy.

I liked this even though I am nothing like her. I don't re-read. I do not write in books. Most of my books come from the library. I am not a writer. I usually don't even like books like this that are compilations of previously published columns, but I still liked this book. It was a quick, easy read...

I empathized with much this author had to say...from how one treats his/her books (with reverence, or with passion, and everything in between) to how one blends a collection with a part...

A delightful collection of essays by a bibliophile, for fellow bibliophiles. Small enough for a pocket, great for dipping in to.She describes growing up a sesquipedalian, the joys (and otherwise) of trying to merge her library with that of her husband, the quirks of proof reading, and much more, as ...

I adore this book and have had it in paper for years. I picked up the audio on sale sometime last year (2 years ago?) and finally listened to it. Great narrator and it's just as good as I remembered. I think that's because I strongly resemble the author although my choice of genre/subject (with the ...
