I thought #18 was better than the last few Plum books. More plot; still slapstick but more true to Stephanie's life/world. And I was glad to see the self-examination of her love triangle. Personally, I think Stephanie should move on and look for someone other than her two commitment phobic boyfrie...

*************************EDIT:Still frustrated. Still love Lula and Grandma Mazur. Problem is, I love both Morelli and Ranger. I used to lean more toward Morelli, but lately he seems sort of apathetic towards any relationship with Stephanie. It's Ranger that tries to help her out and take care o...

Explosive Eighteen- 3 starsMy heart Is breakingI love love love Janet Evanovich, and it breaks my heart to give a 5 star author a 3 star review, but I just couldn’t do the 5 stars this time, because it just didn’t go anywhere. I was so excited to find out about this Hawaii trip, and one little tiny...

I fully admit that I'm a pretty "easy grader" when it comes to book reviews. Now that I read just for pleasure if I find the characters engaging and story entertaining I'll give 4 or 5 stars just for sheer enjoyment, even if the book isn't a literary masterpiece. I say that because I was so disapp...

Oh, come on! She has to choose already. This series needs to stop dragging out and get a spectacular (or not so much, I don't care) ending ASAP.There were funny moments, indeed. But... it's not enough. I need to feel the it is going somewhere, and I don't.

Plum again--It’s book 18 in the Stephanie Plum series, and after a Hawaiian vacation gone bad and a confrontation Stephanie doesn’t want to talk about tensions between Morelli and Ranger finally came to a head such that fists were flying. Both real and fake FBI agents are after Stephanie, Lula has a...

A light, fun read. Sometimes that's just what you need in a book. :)

I liked it. I didn't love it. It had all the usual players and all the usual scenarios. It wasn't as over the top as the last book. I am getting really tired of the Morelli-Stephanie-Ranger triangle though. CHOOSE ALREADY!!! I am thinking it's time to end the series, but I'm going to dutifully k...

I was really worried about this book after reading all the reviews for it. It wasn't as bad as I expected. There was some man drama, but really I'm over it. Even if she isn't. I understand why she can't choose between them, since she has a history with Morelli and well the other guy is Ranger, nothi...
