This is another book that i wanted to read for a while. And what can say the waiting was worthed.I enjoyed reading about Cord and Anne, how they faced their demons, how they found each other and changed for better. I always love a happy ending and theirs was very hard to accomplish and that's what ...

Other than the almost endless family drama/angst, it was really good. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

This is my first book by Ms. O'Connell and I have to say that I can now call myself a fan of her work. She writes Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold in such a brutally honest beautiful way."You know, Annie, a long time ago an old man told me beauty doesn't mean much in a woman. It disappears with age. Bu...

4.5/5; 5 stars; AI thought this was a really good book. A lot of reviewers mention reading it in one sitting or not being able to put it down. I had the opposite problem. There simply aren't enough words for me to accurately describe how much I loved this book. I need extra stars! After reading so many great prods, I finally started this last night. Aside from a bit of confusion by an odd writing style, it's actually really fabulous. Cord is one of those heroes w...

What I liked:Angsty and guarded loner who slowly falls in love when he is unexpectedly forced to marry. What I didn't like:Confusing, bewildering and ultimately boring family melodrama that overwhelms the romance between the H/h. I had a hard time keeping all the side characters straight and eventua...

I'll admit upfront that I read this book in response to its regular, suspicious pimping on the Amazon romance boards. No book out there has all five-star reviews, at least not legitimate ones, but I'd have to read it to know for sure. Now that I have read it, I'll say that maybe some of those accola...

I should mention this is not a DNF because of any particular fault of the book; I would have finished it if I'd had it. I read the free first half and enjoyed it, but after almost two months have decided I might as well face the fact that I don't care enough to buy and finish it. It's an engaging st...
