I do not like too much the book, at the beginning, but is a Great Book. Let me explain myself.I was looking for a good SciFi book because I'm in the mood of that kind of literature, then I saw this book in the Goodreads List of best Science Fiction Books, and as I have ii in my home I decided to sta...

I have been on this earth for 23 years and somehow had never crossed paths with this beautiful book! Ray Bradbury immediately threw himself into my favorite authors list with Fahrenheit 451. It was interesting exploring a more classic example of dystopian fiction, after reading recent examples like ...

Written in the early 1950s, "Fahrenheit 451" is both a speculative work of the future while also a semi-prophetic piece by Ray Bradbury. I loved the story, the main characters and even the antagonist.I appreciate the author even more after I found out about his passion for Egyptology, greek mythology, old Hollywood movies and reading from a young age.

And as if there is just one theme in a book. Why can't t...

Ray Bradbury has imagined a disturbing future in which firemen are no longer needed to put out fires as all homes have been made fireproof. Instead, they start fires when anyone is caught with a book. Reading and owning books has become a crime and every home is equipped with wall-sized interactive ...

I might have given the book 5 stars except that the beginning was SO WIERD. Very drug induced. Once you got past that it was very good. Definitely makes you think and that is the main purpose of books.
