Fanhereit 459 it's an odd book. I can't figure if I liked it or not. I enjoy reading a book about alternative history, dystopian and post-apocalpytic fiction and this one inserts alongside "1984", "We" or "Brave New World" but this one is a little difference. The author doesn't focus much on the pol...
Projections of a Bibliophiles Mind
This book is really awesome and mind blowing. It's about a future society which burns books and promotes a life watching television. It's a totalitarian society where the people who read and hide books in their home are punished for their crime and where suicide attempts are very common even though ...

This is one of those books that you can’t put down the moment you pick it up for the first time. It is also a book that leaves a mark. Even when you finished the book the story stays in your system. You just have to think about it. It’s the kind of book Guy Montag definitely had to burn. It is ...

Fahrenheit 451 is more statement than story. Indeed, if I'm not mistaken, it was originally just a short story that later was fleshed out into this slim, almost novella of a novel. To this reader's eyes it never progressed beyond its short story status. No, I never could love this. It's too bare. Th...

Short Review:"It was a pleasure to burn"Ray Bradbury wrote a timeless classic novel that I couldn't stop reading from the first sentence until the last sentence. Fahrenheit 451 definitely has one of the best first sentences in all of literature. This is definitely one of the better classics I have ...

Fahrenheit 451 speaks for itself:“The Book of Ecclesiastes would be fine. Where was it?”“Here,” Montag touched his head.“Ah,” Granger smiled and nodded.“What’s wrong? Isn’t that all right?” said Montag.“Better than all right; perfect!” Granger turned to the Reverend. “Do we have a Book of Ecclesiast...

I read Fahrenheit 451 in high school along with 1984 and loved both of them. I am not a sci-fi hand and can count on one hand the number of these books that I would read repeatedly. This is so good, this goes into that category.

I really loved this book. It took me a while to read it because I'm juggling other books and work, but when I finally had time to sit down and read it, I could hardly put it down. The world that Ray Bradbury painted was so interesting to me, and kind of crazy how similar it is to what our world seem...

I'm not sure what I can say about this book that hasn't already been said. Well, except I should have read it before now, but didn't. But you know how those TR piles keep growing. Do you think books are related to rabbits? They must be. Some people would say that a book about censorship is no l...

While not what I had been expecting when told to read it, Fahrenheit 451 was incredible. The juxtaposition of the main character's realization and the uncomprehending reality of the women was wonderful.
