Inspired by the lives and loves of the eighteenth-century pioneer of women's rights, Mary Wollstonecraft, and her contemporary, William Wordsworth, Fair Exchange is a spellbinding and sensual novel of passion and guilt.Author Biography: Half English and half French, Michèle Roberts is the author of eleven highly acclaimed novels, including The Looking Glass and Daughters of the House, which won the WH Smith Literary Award and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
