Cross-posted on Soapboxing.netMy husband and I are sitting around talking about this book. I'm on the topic because I'm using one of the characters as an example of something, but I keep losing my argument and shouting about other things. He asks me to cast this book, as I've told him about the thin...
I just can't seem to catch a break. More 1-star book reviews because I haven't read anything good lately. Sigh. If I don't read something spectacular or at least acceptable anytime soon, I'm going to take a break from reading. I'm not used to being on track versus my Goodreads challenge anyway! Lo...
I loved Cade and Max, much more than Garrick and Bliss! Max is a girl hiding who she really is from everyone. Cade is still recovering from losing Bliss to Garrick. When they meet in a coffee shop and Cade agrees to play Max's boyfriend to avoid her parents' disappointment, the connection is imme...
Faking is adorable and more then that too. It is the perfect romantic comedy with a level of character development you don't see in a light romance. Cora Carmack has the wonderful ability to balance fun and heart. Cora is now added to my list of go to authors for stories that have great swoon wo...
I'm being generous giving this 3 stars I think. But I enjoyed it enough for 2 stars to be too low. It's fun, flirty fiction that you don't really have to think about. The characters are as likeable as they can be, but are pretty interchangeable - the nice guy and the Rebel Sue. Insert conflict and "un...

After reading and falling in love with Ms Cormack’s first in this series, Losing It, and falling in lo...
I liked this a lot because my home life is a little like Max's and have a mom who's against what the real me is. I actually enjoyed this book more than Losing It. I was happy Cade got over everything and started to lose himself in what mattered most instead of being stuck in the past.
Rating: 4 Stars Cora Carmack's Faking It is as good as Losing It. It had the right amount of romance, drama, humor and sexiness. This is the kind of New Adult book that I think, somehow, is worth a reader's time because it does tell a story and the characters develop throuhout the story. Most of NAs ...
For this review and more visit my blogLosing It was the first New Adult book I read and it is still the best new adult book I have come across, so I was very excited to read the follow up Faking It. It was a great sequel and nearly as good as the first but not quite.I really love the way that Cora ...
