Usually a book with this many story lines makes my head hurt, but this book is really brilliant and engrossing. I also really appreciate when men write such whole, complete, and interesting female characters.

I just finished reading this book for the second time and feel just as strongly that it deserves 5 stars as the first time that I read it when it originally was released. You grow to love the characters and wonder what happens to them. This and the fact that within each chapter, the story jumps from family to family so s...

At 985 pages, Fall of the Giants is a massive tome and the first book in The Century Trilogy, follows the fates of five interrelated families—American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh—as they move through the world-shaking dramas of the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the struggle f...
