When Scott Alan gets a phone call that his brother was hurt on a logging job, he rushes to Brian’s side, only to find that his injuries are minor—but not before he meets Hank Ballam, an adrenaline-seeking logger who's an outcast among his co-workers.
Hank is a study in contrast: he lives for the rush of climbing and cutting trees almost as much as he loves the peace he finds exploring the mountains he calls home. Scott’s attraction to Hank is immediate and mind-blowing, and it’s what Scott has always wanted: to know what it’s like to love someone he can’t live without.
Scott needs to know if Hank’s true feelings will be a roar of passion or simply a quiet friendship, one that doesn’t match Scott’s devotion. But it may be too late… Scott simply can’t help himself from falling hard for Hank.

Okay, so there's cute cheesy and then there's ridiculous cheesy. Parts of this book were cute and parts were ridiculous, but it was nearly all cheesy. The ridiculousness got to the point a few times that I wanted to stop reading. I even closed the book and came here to add it to my dnf shelf, but...
3 – 3.5 stars.A bit too sappy and a bit too much sex, but other than that I enjoyed it!
3.5*Sweet story with little angst or conflict, sort of surprising considering Hank went from straight to gay without even blinking. The MC's have an instant attraction and take time to build a friendship. I liked the story, my only niggle were all the nicknames and how often 'uncut' had to be pointe...
I thought I would never finish this book. I was ready to give up on it several times. And if it weren't for the length of time it took me to read it, I might have rated it only 1 star. The story was nice but way too sweet for me. Scott and Hank were just so lovable to each other... hardly any argumen...
