I think this book is one of those rare gems you don't expect--it really took me by surprise, even though I am a huge fan of both Heidi Cullinan and Marie Sexton. I expected sweet (delivered), I expected hot (delivered), but what I really didn't expect and was so sort of blown away by was the vulnera...
A lot of the reviews call this a light, fairly angst free read. As both the daughter of an addict/alcoholic and mother of a child who spent a year having really bad seizures, it wasn't so light and angst free for me. It dredged up a lot of feelings. I know how Trey feels exactly- the anger, the help...
This is a sweet and longish novella. Both leads are interesting in their own right. Vincent with the huge Italian family who after a third short lived marriage is rethinking his whole life. Trey is having it hard, taking care of his grand mother and alcoholic mother works two jobs and trying very ha...

They both have families that are super loving and super painful at times. The story of Vince and Trey is wonderful and, dare I say it again, real. ...
