Genealogy is a fascinating study and recently I began to look into my family roots.
There was much information on the internet and I visited our local genealogical society for other information. We who were born on the native soil sometimes fail to appreciate the rich heritage we have been given. It is my hope this information will enable my children and grand children to know about their heritage. While this book is far from being a comprehensive or complete genealogy study, I feel the information contained within these pages will serve to stimulate others who may wish to compile their own work.
In Part II of this book I include stories from our journey. Simply written memories from my youth such as staying summers on my grandparents farm and sleeping on the old sofa. The imagination of a boy and the sounds of the night stirred my imagination. Inside the Big Ben clicking away the hours but outside so many wondrous sounds. The stars visible from the window only acted as a catalyst in my brain.
Readers will soon my writing style to be easy going, sometimes humorous, and straight forward. It is my desire those who read will find themselves within these pages.
