My ability to suspend disbelief and settle in and enjoy this bit of erotica was strained here. It felt a bit like bad porn. The heroine was fine but the hero was okay. Just an OK read for me. I didn't buy into the whole testing out condoms bit. I also didn't feel the connection between Alice and James other than lust. The love scenes were steamy, but not enough to make me love the book.
