In Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl, Cath is a Simon Snow fan. Okay, the whole world is a Simon Snow fan, but for Cath, being a fan is her life--and she's really good at it. She and her twin sister, Wren, ensconced themselves in the Simon Snow series when they were just kids; it's what got them through thei...

I actually gave this book 3.5 stars but rounded up to four on Goodreads. So I bought this book way back in July and finally read it yesterday. Seriously, one of my first things to do in 2016 is read every book on my Kindle/Nook devices. All in all I can say this is not my favorite Rainbow Rowell boo...

It took me a while to get over how blatantly Simon Snow was obviously aimed at Harry Potter. After that I loved it. I feel like this might as well be my auto biography... aside from a couple of minor details like not being a twin and never being to university or writing gay fanfix... Okay, there wer...

As I’m sure you know from my recent ramblings, I’ve been in need of some lighter reads lately and I kept hearing great things about Rainbow Rowell, so decided to give Fangirl a try. Fangirl is a YA coming-of-age novel written in deep point of view, which any of you writers' out there will know, i...

My foray into Rainbow Rowell has been a good one. My first one, Attachments, was really good and this actually lived up to it's hype for me. Rowell is a fantastic author with a real insight into how teenage/young adult girls exist in this day. Fangirl follows Cather and Wren, twins who are headed ...

I had seen this book around for a while and had heard that it was well liked by plenty of people. I was skeptical that I would like it since it just wasn't something I thought I would like or even be able to get through. Reading the back of the book I didn't think anyone could ever put into words ...

I’ve read only three Rainbow Rowell books (out of, I think, four) that have already released. I think this is the best one! :D I could just connect with this book on so many levels! Like, writing a book about a fangirl for people who love books? This book should just be called Read Me Now instead...

This book disappointed me a lot, mainly because main character Cath was so annoying, that at times I wanted to throw this book in to a wall...or bang my head in to one of them. At times it seemed like she was not 18, but 11 .All other characters saved me from not finishing this book at all.
