I've stuck with the series for this long...might as well continue. This was one was kinda boring. I thought it was gonna be a bit better (especially since I like MMOs and at first I was like WOOO! GAMING!), but I knew from the start who the killer was, why he would do it, and it just seemed, meh. On...

Another spectacular mystery from J.D. Robb. This one is a little out there unless you are a role playing gamer. Then it's right up your alley. Totally cool scenario but as usual Eve Dallas quickly figures it out and fingers the bad guy. I really liked the balance of romance and mystery in this one...

3.5 stars. this just didn't hold me. My mind wandered quite a bit. maybe it was all the geek speak. But I always enjoy the growth of the relationship btwn Eve and Roarke.

She'd just been trying to shield him a little. Wasn't that her job, too? she thought in disgust as she rose. Part of the marriage deal? So why were they fighting when she'd done her job? And now she had to do the damn dishes, which she'd fully intended to dump on him. She gathered them up as she s...

Loved this one! The fun banter between Eve and Peabody was back. I had been missing that from the last couple of books. This one was lighter as well. A nice change. Looking forward to #31!

Another strong entry into the on going mystery file of Eve Dallas. I thought this book was stronger than the previous one (Kindred in Death).Strangely, I am beginning to hope that the series gets wrapped up sometime in the next year or so. Even though I have enjoyed every 'in-death' book I've read...

A pleasant escape on a Sunday afternoon with Eve & Rourke, et al. This time Eve is investigating a death caused by a virtual reality game with not enough virtual and a little too much reality. Of course all the usual members of the team are there to help and the steamy relationship between Eve and...

It's book thirty already? Hm, this one was okay for me. I still rate it as a 3 star because I enjoyed. This one, the readers are treated to gaming. This was fun even if it is predictable. Nothing really new about Eve and Roarke. Still one of my favourite couples to read about.
