I Swallow Books Whole
I Swallow Books Whole rated it 10 years ago
This review was originally posted on One Curvy BloggerThis review is a long time coming as I finished the book two months ago. FEED is one of those books that was so good, I had a hard time reviewing it. For months, I have had read countless reviews of bloggers urging readers to pick this book up AS...

Absolutely fantastic. Kept my interest all the way through. The ending was quite disappointing, but I fully intend to read the next book.

Somethings I just get an urge to read something, no matter how many times I've read it before. I re-read Feed by Mira Grant because of such an urge. I don't know what it says about me that I love a book about zombies, politics, and bloggers, but I do. This book is just under 600 pages but it is we...
99 problems, and a book ain't one

This was actually a hard one to rate. The last 150 pages was easily the best, and most exciting in the whole book. And at nearly 600 pages....let's just say that was a lot of build up for the action to really start. At least 200 pages too much build up if you ask me. If I'm being honest, I just thin...

I'm almost, wait, I am definitely one hundred percent certain that Buffy was a Vampire Slayer, not a Zombie Slayer. I'm not even going to bother writing about how different those two things are. I was quite excited about reading this book: I have recently (along with most people) become quite intere...

Several years ago, I went to California Adventure Park and decided to ride the coaster. There I was, all belted in and bolted down when a countdown started - 10, 9, 8 ... As it got to 3, my thought was, "this seems a lot like what you would have before a rocket blaaaaaassssts offffffff!!!!!" (Yup, t...

It all starts with the cure for cancer. That's typical of zombies books and movies.. the cure for cancer is found, and it mutates and turns the world into zombies. In this case, it was a mutation between both the cure for cancer and an incomplete cure for the common cold that was released by a g...

In 2040, you can smoke all you like, because nobody gets cancer anymore. The downside is that the zombies have taken over the world faster and more effectively than cats have ever managed – and they’re absolutely fixated – not on brains, but on human flesh. There was no warning before the outbreaks b...
