Published in 1975, Russ's classic about 4 female characters meeting in time is still germane, still witty, still rousing in this age of mansplaining and the War on Women.
It's an angry book. Very angry. But it's also funny, poignant and thought provoking. And meta! How lovely. And given the time it was written in (1970s) and its theme (feminism), the anger is very justified. And well written.
