So Stephanie Plum is a bail bondsman who is not particularly good at her job. Her life is kind of like an "I Love Lucy" episode but instead of a candy factory, think car bombs, house fires, and heads getting whacked off with a machete. If anything can go wrong it probably will. Stephanie is a likabl...
I loved this book. The perfect blend of Ranger, Morelli, Lula, Grandma Mazur, exploding cars, and BBQ. I laughed out loud several times. I have loved all of the Stehanie Plum books to date. My only dissapointment is that now I have to wait for the next book to come out.
Not as great as others I've read, but definitely entertaining and I had several laugh out loud moments. Ranger is hotter than ever. The emphasis on the mishaps of Lula and Grandma are not my particular preference so since this book center around them it just didn't hold my interest as much. The humo...
I've read all of them in the series up to now and I would have to agree with some of the other reviews out there that it is losing its steam. Pretty much the same set up and will Stephanie ever hook up with Ranger or will she ever choose to settle down with Morelli at least for more than part of a b...
W-e-l-l, I'll take me a Ranger, please. There are many wonderful moments and many ridiculous and many tedious moments. I had gotten bored at about #6, years ago, but a friend loaned me this one and I did enjoy it. Lots of laugh outloud moments in spite of the unfunny bodily function "humor."
Maybe I expect too much for a series that 15 books in, but I really felt like this book was, well, bleh. The plot points are so predictable and in this latest installment the mystery wasn't even well executed. I really wish Evanovich would challenge Stephanie as a character. Let her get involved wit...
Never have I enjoyed a cast of characters more than I do Stephanie Plum and her cohorts. I often laugh out loud at their various exploits and #15 in the series is no exception. I love the way Ms. Evanovich makes the story interesting but secondary to the people who are actually living it. A terri...
This 15th edition of the Stephanie Plum series wasn't up to the previous standards. It was a cute, beachy quick type read with very little in the way of character development or series plot development. A great deal of flirting with Ranger while spending time in his bed, though not with him, and he...
With each successive book in this series Stephanie Plum becomes less, not more. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed to see the character shrink instead of grow. I got this audio CD to listen to for light entertainment and it more or less met that requirement but I found myself getting kind of fed ...
