Brought to you courtesy of Book Project 2015.I cannot even with how good this is. I mean you'd have to have you head under a rock to fail to notice that these books--while being perfectly decent fantasy yarns--are about ... well ... women.Which makes me feel kind of awkward writing about them. Not be...

(FROM MY BLOG, BEFORE THE BOOK WAS PUBLISHED) I had just finished reading and reviewing Graceling when a representative from the publisher asked me if I'd be interested in an ARC of Fire. I couldn't believe my luck! I enjoyed Graceling a lot and was rather bummed knowing I would have to wait until O...

I may be giving this one more star than it really deserves, but Cashore nailed the ending. Full review to come.

Once I picked this up, I didn't want to put it down. This book takes place over the eastern mountains of the 7 Kingdoms. In the Dells, no one is born a Graceling. Instead, Monsters with their own set of attraction and power are born.

And I truly believe that. Bust sadly Fire just wasn’t up to that level. Don’t get me wrong, I really ...

:(Otra c...

Originally posted at Romance Around the CornerFire is the next installment in the Graceling books, a fantasy series where some people called gracelings develop a power-like ability that depending on what it is, can be helpful, useless or very dangerous. This book is a prequel, so it takes place year...

Here's my review for Fire by Kristin Cashore. For the full details, please visit my blog at Thoughts and PensPlotI want to be blunt about this one but I’ve sighed a lot while reading this book. And to think that I really have high hopes for it. But the story was too predictable like looking from a...
