I would give this an enthusiastic 3.5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-growing relationship from this new-to-me author. I will be reading her catalog!
I’ve read some Balogh before, but I wanted to go through an actual series. I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, based on a number of friends’ enthusiastic responses.
