Esperaba demasiado de este libro (después de haber visto la serie, injustamente cancelada) y fue una gran decepción. Los personajes no están logrados y se torna aburrido y predecible.

Just...bad. Mediocre writing, huge cop-out finish, and HOLY OVEREXPLAINING BATMAN. I'm a pretty intelligent person, really. I can follow a pretty detailed explanation of whatever general physics you throw at me. Why neutrinos from the sun reacted with a particle collision to create a time-warp? Yeah...

My Rating:8/10My Take: I truly loved this book! It was absolutely fascinating!! The way Sawyer describes the future, and what happens because of those visions are genius! The book is different from the series. So don't be alarmed if you read it. There are only two characters that are in the series a...

Flash Forward by Robert J. Sawyer My rating: 3 of 5 stars This book is very unlike the series. I enjoyed the series and I did like the book. But other than the initial idea, they have nothing in common. Oh, and some names are the same, but the people behind them are totally different. So I don't w...

Interesting book. Completely different than the TV show, which is disappointing, because I thought the book was dynamic and a good read and could have added much to the series, but with the series they went more for mysterious suspense.

Robert Sawyer always finds great stories to write about. His ideas always draw me in and I think I'm in for a fantastic tale. Then I reach the end and I feel like it could have been more.Flashforward had a great pull - See your own life 20 years into the future for 2 minutes and try to work out how ...

The only thing this shares with the TV series of the same name is the concept of everyone in the world simultaneously blacking out for two minutes, during which they have a “flashforward” of their future. In the TV series that is 6 months hence; in the book it is more than 20 years hence, so the imp...

This was a very interesting premise, but I really only enjoyed the middle of the book. It took too long to get off the ground for me and the ending was a bit too strange and out-there for what had already been established in the novel. It felt tacked on, as though the author had another idea he ende...
