A whole new world was opened to me with this book; its shockingly disturbing, awesomely trashy and completly madness with all the incest. The whole incest topic caught my attention because I've never read a book that dealt with incest before. And as a teenager, its sort of overwhelming with the ...

I can't even bring myself to put Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews on my YA shelf because the thought of any young adult ever reading it (or anyone ever again, for that matter) gives me the heebity bejeebies. In this book, the start of a horror show that lasted for many of us of a certain age for ...

I never read it then, but I probably should of because my inner twee...

This book was ok/good. I read it as a teenager when VC Andrews was the rage, but even as a teenager thought there were better authors out there who wrote much more creepy stuff, such as Clare McNally!

I was expecting this book to be really really gripping. I mean, VC Andrews almost has a cult following and the subject matter certainly seemed interesting enough. Her writing itself was pretty good, very easy to read and interesting enough. But it just dragged on and on with not much of anything ha...
