This is one of those books I read in high school. It's interesting to me that re-reading it later in life, I come away with a very different perspective. If you've read this before in high school, it might be worth reading again, I'm sure glad I did.

I can't give this the full five star/classic treatment. It's just too sparse, too spartan. I need a little more color and depth in both setting and character. But the story is strong and I'm a big fan of the slice of life (or death) book.
