This book isn't exceptional. It's another book that seems to scream that the author is trying to squeeze more money out of a popular series. I didn't hate it. At least it did what the other three books in the series couldn't; it made me care about Four/Tobias. I still don't think he's right for Tris...
I really enjoyed getting Four's perspective. With The Transfer, I enjoyed seeing how his aptitude test and what his result was, even if the result may have been altered. This reminded me how much I love Four. It tells his story before he came to Dauntless. It also shows his trials to get in along with more information on Eric and others. Then it gives Four's point of view when Tris came to Dauntless. Left me wanting more from him.
