Zaczęłam dość dawno temu, jestem gdzieś w połowie i nie daję rady. Opisy mnie nużą :(. Film i widoki były genialne. Sama fabuła także. A książka mnie męczy...

First let me tell you what this book isn’t. It’s nothing like the movie; it’s not a romance; and it isn’t even a book with much of a plot. If you would like to read this because you liked the movie, DON'T. This book is all about recipes, house makeovers and Italian lifestyle. And that's it. If you like it, ok, but there's no relevant plot.

For some reason I got half-way through this book and am bored to tears. I can usually push through to the end but I just cannot bring myself to continue. I am just not into it. Sorry Rachel

Beautiful writing, but I can only take so much description for so long. Nothing happened/was going to happen.

For some reason I was expecting a romance. It is, perhaps, about a love affair with Tuscany and with the house the author bought. The book is simply a memoir of a few years' worth of restoration work on her house in Tuscany, and exploring the surrounding countryside. Perhaps if I were planning a ...
