This is an intensely dramatic and wonderfully told short story about a young Royal Air Force (RAF) fighter pilot's struggle to make it home to the UK from West Germany in his DeHavilland Vampire jet fighter on the night of Christmas Eve 1957. Frederick Forsyth - one of my favorite writers - was hims...

“It is cold at six-forty in the morning on a March day in Paris, and seems even colder when a man is about to be executed by firing squad.” One of the best opening lines ever. This was a re-read for me, and I am glad I re-read this one. While the descriptions of the police work are now dated,...

I enjoyed this book a great deal. My biggest issue was the plot device (the whole not talking about our problems leading to a break up). I hate romances that use miscommunication or lack of communication to create drama. Thankfully, the entire book isn't based on that, but it did take some of the s...

I will admit I didn't go into this book with much hope for Ace. And Bryant was just...well, weird. And even when I thought I knew how this book was going to go, Frederick didn't quite go that route and I appreciated it. Full review to come!

A well constructed thriller that puts an international terrorist known as "The Preacher" for his jihadist, anti-Western internet sermons, squarely in the cross-hairs of "Kit" Carson, who hunts him down at all costs. Tedious at times due to the main character(s) getting shoved to the background from...
