I was looking for something light to read on a Saturday night, and this fit the bill. I was struck, since I haven't read this in awhile, by how sympathetically I remembered Claudia. Really, she's a bit awful, but I was also the oldest and knew the injustice of having to wash the dishes and sweep the...

This was a really fun book! I was a bit worried that the book might feel dated but it really wasn’t too bad. This is probably one of my favorite books growing up. I make sure to revisit the children in the museum once every few years, and I can't wait to share the story with my daughter.

I've read this book in my youth and adored it. A brother and sister run away from home, live in New York City's Metropolitan Museum, and become involved in a mystery. It is dated, in a lovely historical way, and the characters are rather 2 dimensional, but it is STILL a very good young adult read.

A much-read and well-loved book from my childhood. I dreamed of running away and living in a museum.
